It all started when I couldn’t find relatable resources for my children...
Driven by my passion for research, learning, conservation and education, I homeschool my children, instilling in them a profound appreciation for nature and its wonders. Drawing from my background in Science, Ecology and Conservation, my love for teaching and creativity, I embarked on a literary journey. My books are a reflection of our family's adventures visiting wild places, encountering our incredible wildlife and the blessing of farming in Northern Zululand.

- Specialised Knowledge: I have a Master's Degree in Ecology and Conservation. A Honours Degree in Plant Pathology and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology and Plant Pathology.
- Practical Experience: My personal experiences working within the conservation sector, visiting a wide variety of wild places and living on a farm in the bushveld provides a unique and authentic perspective.
- Educational Approach: Homeschooling my three children from wee little tots, has allowed me to create relatable, engaging and educational content that resonates with children.
